The Syndicate

The Syndicate are a music event management group as well as the voice for Drum & Bass Music in Beijing.

The Syndicate DJs and MCs have played at most major clubs in Beijing, and their monthly Drum & Bass parties have been crucial in spreading new music in China.

The Syndicate DJs and MCs regularly perform at Beijing’s largest regular dance music event, the legendary YEN Parties.

At the 2005 YEN Great Wall Party, THE SYNDICATE hosted their own dance floor dedicated to Drum & Bass music, which kept the crowd of 1,700 people dancing till the morning light.

The Syndicate team members have been a vital part in organizing many of Beijing’s pioneering music events, including the YEN parties, Ting parties, and The UpstepperSound parties.

The Syndicate have many years of experience organizing and managing concerts and music events in China and abroad, and have a deep understanding of the local dance music market. When living in the USA, The Syndicate’s managing director Dan Stephenson has successfully organized and promoted concerts with major label artists such as Moby, Morrissey, Queens of the Stone Age, Wu Tang Clan, and many more.
